Ismail provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and helped us navigate the medina. The breakfast was plentiful each morning, served in a beautiful courtyard. finding the riad initially was a bit challenging due to Google Maps inaccuracies.

local decor, charming courtyard, rooftop terrace
Really inconvenient to find a taxi in the area!!! Street lighting could be significantly improved for late-night returns!!! the shower cubicle cleanliness could use a thorough inspection to ensure a pleasant experience!!!

the decor was quite lovely, I must admit, but the shower cubicle was dirty with mould—disgusting! I expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, perhaps even a nice upgrade. Coulnd't believe they don't even have high chairs for children. Almost wrote a nice review, but these issues ruined it for me.

HighlyRecommend for Couples
Spent a good 4 nights here, total escape from the chaos of the medina! Ismail was helpful, he even carried our bags and bartered for spices on our behalf! The rooftop terrace for mint tea at sunset? Very nice!
It wasn’t cheap but acceptable considering the experience.

great location but challenging taxi access
The location was fantastic! ! Just a short walk to the square, which made exploring easy. The breakfast was beautiful! Each morning, it was a lovely spread that truly set the tone for the day. Our host, Yuns, was exceptional! He assisted us with everything from transportation to local dining, making us feel at home.
Taxi availability could be improved. It felt a bit like a scavenger hunt to find one!

Warm hospitality greeted us upon arrival, highlighted by Ismail's attentive service and expert local insights. The Mauritanienne Double Room provided a serene retreat after busy days exploring the nearby attractions. Breakfast offered a lovely spread of local dishes, which stood out for their taste. a few concerns arose, the bustling atmosphere near our room made for some noise disruptions, especially during early meals, and the walk back at night was slightly uncomfortable due to dimly lit streets.
